Collections Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Collections Specialist to join our Finance team. As a Collections Specialist, you will play a critical role in maximizing the recovery of past due receivables and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, following up on past due invoices and resolving disputes through effective communication and negotiation.
- Quickly address invoice discrepancies and payment disputes, ensuring accurate records and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Document all collection activities in our ERP system and ensure timely customer payments.
- Proactively identify payment issues and work with internal teams and customers to resolve them, escalating when necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and payment history.
- Participate in portfolio reviews with the AR Manager to ensure optimal collection strategies and performance.
- Related Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in collections or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a B2B environment.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Professional English communication, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work well with teams and clients.
- Experience with Salesforce and ERP systems (Workday is a plus).
- Knowledge of Jira Ticketing.
- Fluency in German or other European language is a plus (other than English/Spanish).
- Experience in SaaS is valued.
