Your Future Role

We're seeking a full-time Software Designer (CBTC) in Madrid to join our team. As a CBTC expert, you'll apply your signalling expertise in a new cutting-edge field, working alongside young and proactive teammates. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Participating in application design and development for train control signalling solutions
  • Developing subsystem requirements and designs based on system-level designs and requirements
  • Implementing software design, including unit tests to verify software correctness and completeness
  • Coordinating peer reviews of software development artefacts and participating in peer reviews requested by others
What We're Looking For

We value passion and attitude over experience. To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • B.S in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other engineering discipline
  • 3-5 years' experience developing software, preferably in the rail transportation industry
  • Good knowledge of software development principles and object-oriented design
  • Experience with software implementation (.NET, Visual Basic, Visual C++, C/C++), Windows and Linux operating systems, and software development tools (Eclipse, Git, GitLab, Gerrit, DOORS, Jenkins)
