Commercial Strategy Director

Empresa Reconocida seeks a highly skilled Commercial Strategy Director to drive business growth and improvement in the Spain market. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial roles with people management experience, as well as a minimum of 10 years general business experience.
Growth Strategy
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a growth strategy that achieves the annual revenue budget for existing and new customers. This includes building growth strategies in existing and new sectors, leading multifunctional teams to retain current customer business, and monitoring sales funnels.
Asset Productivity
The role involves developing an Asset Productivity (AP) strategy in the manufacturer area, improving internal collaboration with other areas, and controlling TE costs through route planning and expense management. Additionally, the candidate will work closely with the supply chain team to address quality issues before they become a cause for customer concern or a major cost to the company.
Customer Satisfaction
The Commercial Strategy Director will focus on increasing NPS for customers by ensuring they receive outstanding customer service, both in the field and from the office. This includes ensuring the smooth rollout of new initiatives and tools, developing a team of high-performance account management and sales staff, and investing in zero-harm initiatives and job training.
Cost Efficiency
The role requires careful management of TE costs, including the roll-out of route planning and expense management. The candidate will also work closely with commercial finance to ensure customer relationships remain economically sustainable for both the company and the customer.
The estimated salary for this position is approximately €120,000 per year, based on the requirements and location.
To be considered for this role, you should have a Business/Commercial degree and/or MBA, with a proven track record of delivering high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty, leading large and complex commercial negotiations, defending business against competitive threats, and driving growth through lane expansion. You should also be fluent in English and Spanish, with a strong ability to communicate key messages and motivate people.
