**Hotel Mandarin Oriental Ritz, Madrid** is seeking a highly skilled **Financial Manager** to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for performing all daily, weekly, monthly, and other periodic accounting and financial reporting in an accurate and timely manner.
Key Responsibilities- Perform analytical reviews of Financial Statements and explain any variances from Budget and Forecast.
- Coordinate and perform month-end closing.
- Prepare and maintain the accounting records of all MOHG entities associated with Hotel Ritz Madrid.
- Respond to financial inquiries by gathering, analyzing, summarizing, and interpreting data for all financial reporting entities.
- Develop financial statements as and when required.
- Assist the Assistant Financial Controller in the budgeting forecasting processes.
- Monitor Expense Management approach for any operational activities in all departments to ensure optimal efficiency and best performance has been considered.
- Monitor departmental internal controls and create and implement Operating procedures as necessary.
- Coordinate the submission of periodic MOHG reports (daily, weekly, and monthly).
- Coordinate all CSAQ and ISAQ submissions and carry out respective follow-up.
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting Finance.
- Demonstrates knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), emphasizing an overall extensive understanding of the applicable business and accounting issues, and technical accounting and financial reporting standards.
- Solid knowledge of bookkeeping competencies.
- Strong Level of Proficiency in Excel; ability to assemble, analyze, understand integrated spreadsheets and complex technical information.
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
- Experience in Financial Accountant, Audit Services, or similar role.
- Prioritization skills; ability to meet deadlines and problem solving.
- Negotiation and Communication skills.
