Software Test Engineer - Quality Assurance

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented software test engineer to contribute to the quality and reliability of our software solutions at Floorganise. As a software test engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Test Planning: Collaborate with the development and product teams to create comprehensive test plans based on project requirements.
  2. Test Execution: Execute manual and automated test cases to identify software defects.
  3. Defect Reporting: Document and track software defects, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
  4. Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to validate that software changes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
  5. Test Automation: Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test scripts to enhance testing efficiency.
  6. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and ensure effective communication throughout the development lifecycle.
  7. Continuous Improvement: Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality assurance process.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience as a Software Tester or similar role.
  3. Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
  4. Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
  5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  6. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  7. Familiarity with the maritime or shipyard industry is a plus.
