We are seeking a highly experienced Country Director to lead our business operations in Spain. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing the country's strategic business plan, building and leading a high-performing team, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and own the execution of the strategic country business plan
  • Build and lead a highly experienced Key Account Management, Market Access, and Sales team
  • Develop and execute sales & pull-through strategies, plans, and initiatives to achieve sales objectives and increase market share
  • Work closely with Global and Regional Marketing to develop and execute campaigns and communication tactics
  • Monitor competitive activity and ensure Novavax is abreast of new developments in the marketplace
  • Ensure compliance with Novavax Global and Regional guidelines as well as local laws and regulations
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 7 years of successful experience in leadership positions with emphasis on customer-facing roles
  • General Management experience highly desired or 'second in command' minimum 3 years experience required
  • Minimum of 7 years extensive commercial experience in the Biotech and/or pharmaceutical industry
  • 3 years Vaccine-specific experience is highly desirable
  • B.A./B.S. required; MBA/Ph.D. preferred
