About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fraud Prevention Team Lead to join our team at Awin. As a key member of our fraud prevention team, you will be responsible for leading the detection and prevention of fraudulent activities within our affiliate marketing network and online platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of fraud management specialists and developers to continuously improve our fraud prevention tools and processes.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive fraud detection and prevention measures and tools to protect our business, customers, and partners from non-compliant parties.
  • Conduct regular audits to identify and address any anomalies in our publisher lifecycle.
  • Establish a robust monitoring system to detect anomalies for proactive fraud detection and prevention.
  • Collaborate with our fraud handling team to respond to fraudulent activities accordingly.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues within Awin to gather fraud prevention requirements from clients and partners.
  • Establish and maintain accurate documentation of fraud management activities and sanctions.
  • Provide advice and training to internal and external partners on fraud prevention, detection, and resolution strategies.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in affiliate marketing fraud prevention and/or fraud investigations.
  • Relevant experience in an online setting, indicating familiarity with digital platforms and e-commerce environments.
  • Leadership skills with at least 2 years of experience leading a team of at least five people.
  • Excellent client service skills with a proven track record of proactive engagement.
  • Strong time management skills and the flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and challenges.
  • Technical proficiency in using the MS Office suite, especially MS Excel, Power BI, and Tableau.
  • Deep understanding of how AI/ML/LLM works to identify anomalies and make predictions.
