About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Integrated Breeding Lead to join our team in EMEA South. As a key member of our Cucurbits team, you will be responsible for leading the development of new crop varieties and driving innovation in our breeding programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Cucurbits Integrated Breeding Teams in EMEA South to achieve business objectives and drive innovation in crop development.
  • Develop and implement crop strategies to improve crop yields, quality, and disease resistance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the adoption of new technologies and best practices in breeding.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to breeding teams to ensure efficient and effective implementation of breeding programs.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to drive efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
  • PhD level Science degree or equivalent through experience.
  • At least 7 years of experience in Agronomy, Breeding, or Plant Biotechnology.
  • Proven track record of success in multi-disciplinary project leadership.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
