Key Responsibilities:- Develop new tomato varieties through phenotyping, evaluation, and administration of selection and variety trials.
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand market needs and preferences.
- Work closely with the lead breeder to develop innovative tomato varieties.
- Participate in international travel to judge variety trials and establish relationships with customers and research institutes.
- Set up variety trials with stakeholders and take part in strategic discussions about the breeding program.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in horticulture, agriculture, applied biology, or plant breeding.
- At least 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and administrative skills.
- Good command of English and Spanish language.
- A permanent contract from the start.
