Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Finance and Accounting to join our team at Reconocida empresa. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing financial strategies that drive business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets to inform business decisions and drive strategic growth.
  2. Accounting and Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  3. Financial Systems and Processes: Design, implement, and maintain effective financial systems and processes to ensure efficient and accurate financial operations.
  4. Risk Management and Compliance: Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  5. Leadership and Team Development: Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, providing guidance, coaching, and training to ensure the team's success.
Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  2. Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in accounting and finance, with at least 3 years in a management role.
  3. Skills: Strong knowledge of corporate finance, accounting theory, and practices, including IFRS and US GAAP. Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  4. Language: Excellent command of oral and written English, including professional glossary.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Professional Certification: ACCA or equivalent certification.
  2. International Experience: Prior experience in an international/multi-country setting.
