Accounting Director Spain: Lead Financial Operations

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Director to join our Finance Department in Spain. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and developing the local Accounting Operations team, ensuring the quality of monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations, and managing cash, working capital, and bank relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and Develop the Accounting Operations Team: Oversee the local Accounting Operations team, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of financial tasks.
- Statutory Reporting and Compliance: Finalize statutory reporting for the three legal entities of the Group, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Internal and External Audits: Liaise with internal and external auditors, providing support and guidance throughout the audit process.
- Financial Analysis and Reporting: Analyze and document Balance-Sheet positions, providing insights to inform business decisions.
- Cash and Working Capital Management: Manage cash, working capital, and bank relationships, ensuring optimal financial performance.
- Regulatory and Statistical Reporting: Support the preparation of regulatory and statistical reporting, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Worldline Group Internal Control: Carry out assigned Worldline Group Internal Control activities, ensuring the integrity of our financial processes.
- Corporate Tax and VAT: Provide and review information required for Corporate Tax, VAT, and other Tax submissions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Strong Analytical and Communication Skills: Possess sophisticated skills in mathematics, accounting, and finance, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient English Level: Have a proficient English level, with Spanish as a mother tongue.
- Certified Auditor or Managerial Experience: Be a certified auditor (ROAC) or have at least 3-4 years of experience at Manager level with Big 4, or several years in international firms in the role of Director Accounting/Chief Accountant.
