Job Description

As a key member of our team at Renewable Energy Grid Solutions, we are seeking a highly skilled Tendering Manager to join our Power Transmission Services department in Spain. This exciting opportunity will see you play a pivotal role in delivering technical and commercial proposals within our specific region.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage ITO (Inquiry to Order) activities, from specs review, preparation of Technical/Commercial proposal following GE's procedures and approval principles.
  2. Technical/commercial specifications review, preparation of compliance table/comments to customer's specifications and description of solution to be presented to customer (technical solution description, data sheets, etc.)
  3. Support Sales managers with GE's Technical proposal presentation/clarifications to customer in case it is required.
  4. Revision of GE proposal presented to customer according to opportunity requirements.
  5. Customer T&C revision and suggest modification to them according to GE's standard terms and conditions with GE's legal support.
  6. Participate to appropriate approval processes in case they are required according to GE's policies and procedures.
  7. Close collaboration with other departments: Operations Team, Manufacturing, Finance, Services Team.
  8. Purchase orders review, to make sure order is in accordance with GE's proposal/last negotiation communication.
  9. Request revision of the order in case it is necessary.
  10. Follow GE's procedure for OTR handover: transmit all necessary information to required stakeholders.
  11. Follow GE compliance Policies ('The Spirit and The Letter') and promote open reporting.
Qualifications / Requirements:
  1. Electronics/Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent.
  2. Engineering and Business knowledge, with possible experience in Automation activities.
  3. Knowledge of Electricity Transmission, Distribution & Industrial markets, Substations.
  4. Autonomy & Rigor.
  5. Fully fluent in Spanish and English. Other languages valued (Portuguese).
  6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong customer focus and ability to cooperate with the different departments.

  1. Previous work experience in multi-cultural environment.
  2. Expertise required in customer relationships.
  3. Sales, commercial or technical development experience in the energy or High Voltage business.
  4. High energy positive individual loving operational challenges.
  5. Ability to organize, prioritize and achieve milestones and deliverables.
  6. High interpersonal skills, Team work capabilities.
