Job Title: Global Strategic Business Controller

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Strategic Business Controller to join our team at Hitachi Vantara Corporation. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing global business strategies that drive financial performance and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development of the company's global business strategy, aligning with the overall corporate strategy.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to business leaders, providing financial guidance and support to drive business decisions.
  • Evaluate financial implications of strategic decisions, building scenarios and recommending actions to achieve business objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement, providing insights to inform business decisions.
  • Develop and implement global financial standards and guidelines, ensuring consistency and compliance across the organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth, improve financial performance, and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Provide strategic input to business leaders, helping to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, finance teams, and other functional groups.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in financial controller roles, with a strong background in financial analysis and planning.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather and analyze complex financial data.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong sense of urgency and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Fluent in English, with the ability to communicate effectively in a global business environment.
