Drive Revenue Growth in the Sports Industry

Ateme, the global leader in video delivery, is seeking a seasoned Sales Director - Sports to lead our expansion and growth in the EMEA & APAC regions.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a robust sales strategy, ensuring alignment with local market needs and the company's global objectives.
  • Collaborate with marketing, R&D, and operations to ensure product offerings meet the specific needs of each region, enhancing fan engagement and monetization opportunities.
  • Establish and foster strategic alliances and partnerships with key stakeholders in both regions, including rights holders, media partners, and technology providers.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, sports events, and exhibitions, promoting our solutions and building brand awareness.
  • Lead and mentor a team of high-performing sales professionals across multiple countries, ensuring effective collaboration and consistent execution of sales initiatives.

Key Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in sales, business development, or partnerships within the sports industry, with a focus on the sport markets.
  • Proven track record of success in driving revenue growth in the sports sector, with a deep understanding of the commercial dynamics (rights management, broadcasting, OTT, sponsorship, etc.).
  • Strong network of connections within the sports world, including leagues, clubs, and media entities.
  • Fluency in English; additional relevant languages are a plus.
  • A passion for sports and a deep understanding of its influence on media, culture, and business.

Location:
