Responsibilities

  1. Assist companies in financial distress, including pre-crisis situations, out-of-court workouts, and restructuring processes.
  2. Prepare or analyze cash flow forecasts, business plans, and financial models.
  3. Develop strategy, including plans of reorganization, contingency planning, or alternative solutions.
  4. Assist with valuation analysis and financial modeling for various options, including liquidation, restructuring, and sale.
  5. Prepare and participate in management presentations and new business presentations.
  6. Conduct industry and business research.
  7. Interact with clients at multiple levels.

Requirements

  1. Degree in Business Administration or similar. MBA and/or chartered accountant certification will be considered.
  2. 5-10 years of experience in restructuring or transaction services from top audit firms or boutique advisory firms.
  3. Demonstrable experience in the following situations is essential:
    1. Financial turnaround programs.
    2. Cash and working capital management.
    3. Building, reviewing, and maintaining short-term cash flow models.
    4. Formulating, reviewing, and analyzing business plans and financial forecasts.
    5. Supporting Chief Restructuring Officer roles.
    6. Balance sheet restructurings.
    7. Options analysis.
    8. Contingency planning.
    9. Schemes of arrangement.
    10. Trading administration.
    11. Independent business reviews.
    12. Distressed sales.
    13. Company Voluntary Arrangements.
  4. Highly motivated with the ability to work in a demanding schedule in an entrepreneurial environment.
  5. Superior interpersonal, marketing, sales, and organizational skills.
  6. Excellent research abilities, including familiarity with Bloomberg, Capital IQ, etc.
  7. Ability to make effective decisions by analyzing information and considering priorities.
  8. Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  9. Demonstrated experience with managing the day-to-day aspects of client relationships and projects.
  10. High English level.
  11. Strong numeracy skills with the ability to process and analyze large volumes of data.
  12. Excellent report writing skills.
  13. Ability to establish effective working relationships with a strong client focus.
  14. Excellent written and verbal communication skills that help represent diverse communities.
  15. Experience working with diverse teams.
