About the Role


We are seeking an experienced sales professional to drive revenue and user adoption for our startup customers. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of direct sales or business development experience in software, cloud, or SaaS markets, selling to C-level executives. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of startup customers, ensuring customer success, driving revenue, and accelerating customer adoption through well-developed sales engagements and strategic partnerships.



Key Responsibilities


The successful candidate will:



  • Manage a set of approximately 100 startup/scaleup customers, providing support to help them scale and grow
  • Ensure customer success with mid and late-stage startups
  • Drive revenue and market share in a defined territory or industry vertical
  • Accelerate customer adoption through effective sales engagement and go-to-market strategies
  • Meet or exceed quarterly revenue and goal targets
  • Develop and execute comprehensive account/territory plans
  • Create compelling value propositions around AWS services
  • Engage founders, CxOs, board members, and VC influencers to accelerate customer adoption
  • Work with partners to extend reach and drive adoption
  • Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts
  • Ensure customer satisfaction


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS


The ideal candidate will possess:



  • 5+ years of direct sales or business development experience in software, cloud, or SaaS markets, selling to C-level executives
  • Experience developing detailed go-to-market plans and territory plans
  • Ability to use data to make informed decisions on prioritization
  • Experience using industry-standard sales tools
