Job Title: Junior Legal Secretary/Administrative Assistant

At Dac Beachcroft LLP, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Junior Legal Secretary or Administrative Assistant to join our Commercial Litigation team in our London office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional administrative support to a team of fee earners, including managing files, creating documents, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Assist with billing, cash collection, and accounts queries, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Manage large documents, create versions, amend, proofread, and create comparisons with precision and attention to detail.
  • Book client and internal meetings, video and audio conferences, and travel arrangements with ease.
  • Update and maintain client contact information on relevant systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Perform various administrative tasks, including filing, archiving, photocopying, and scanning documents as required.
  • Assist with some paralegal activities, such as creating bundles and maintaining a clean office and clear desk.
Requirements:
  • Qualified to a minimum of 5 GCSEs (including a grade C (5) in English and Maths) or equivalent.
  • Secretarial NVQ / Diploma or equivalent would be beneficial.
  • Good IT skills, particularly in Microsoft packages, including pdf docs and file sharing platforms.
  • Sound knowledge of 3E accounts software.
  • Excellent eye for detail with a concern for quality and accuracy.
  • Focused client service approach is essential.
  • Team oriented and collaborative with a flexible, can-do attitude.
