Job Opportunity at Dac Beachcroft LLP

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Junior Legal Secretary or Administrative Assistant to join our Commercial Litigation team in London.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional administrative support to a team of fee earners, including prioritizing tasks, managing files, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Assist with billing, cash collection, and accounts queries, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Manage large documents, create versions, amend, proofread, and create comparisons, maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Book client and internal meetings, video and audio conferences, and travel arrangements, ensuring seamless coordination.
  • Update and maintain client contact information, file management systems, and workflow tracking schedules.
  • Perform ad-hoc business development and communications activities, supporting the team's efforts.
  • Handle confidential information, adhering to the firm's data security protocols.
  • Assist with paralegal activities, such as creating bundles, and maintain a clean office environment.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 GCSEs (including English and Maths) or equivalent.
  • Secretarial NVQ/Diploma or equivalent desirable.
  • Excellent IT skills, particularly in Microsoft packages.
  • Sound knowledge of PDF docs and file sharing platforms.
  • Good working knowledge of 3E accounts software.
  • Excellent eye for detail, with a focus on quality and accuracy.
  • Client-focused approach, with strong communication and teamwork skills.
