Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of accounting and reconciliation processes.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with the line manager to ensure accurate and timely accounting and reconciliation processes for various bank accounts, including GBP, Visa, Ecash, Intercompanies, cross charges, HP leasing, Office lease, and capex depreciation.
  2. Support Accounts receivables, Accounts payables, and Unbilled processes.
  3. Contribute to Client revenues/cost management.
  4. Collaborate in the accounting and reconciliation process for payroll processes, seizures, social security, and taxes, including support for prepayments and income tax calculation.
  5. Support Internal and external audits.
  6. Prepare monthly and yearly taxes.
  7. Apply company policies regarding sensitive and confidential information.
Requirements
  1. A fluent level of Spanish and English, with at least 3 years of experience in a similar role within Spain.
  2. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team, building strong working relationships.
  3. Experience with Finance/Accounting systems.
  4. Highly detail-oriented, organized, and accurate.
  5. Ability to be consistent and reflective, ensuring high delivery of working standards.
  6. Demonstrate a complete vision and knowledge of operations within a finance department.
  7. Have a resolutive and proactive mindset to provide solutions within timeframes.
  8. Capacity to work under pressure and achieve deadlines.
  9. Preferred: Degree in Business Administration and Management or Higher professional education in Administration/Accounting.
  10. Experience in the accounting, treasury, and collection departments.
What We Offer
  1. Permanent contract with a 1-month probation period.
  2. Full-time position (39 hours/week).
  3. Working days/Hours: Monday - Friday - 9 am - 6 pm.
  4. Salary: 28K - 30K (depending on experience).
  5. Holidays: 24 per calendar month.
  6. Paid bank holidays + 1 extra day in lieu.
  7. Hybrid work arrangement: 3 days per month in the office, with the rest working from home.
