Key Responsibilities- Support accounting and reconciliation processes for the company's payments, ensuring tasks are completed correctly within set timelines.
- Collaborate with Operations to educate non-finance colleagues on payment and accountancy processes across the business.
- Work with the line manager on accounting and reconciliation processes for various bank accounts, including GBP, Visa, Ecash, and Intercompanies.
- Support Accounts receivables, Accounts payables, and Unbilled, as well as Client revenues/cost management.
- Collaborate on payroll processes, seizures, social security, and taxes, including prepayments and income tax calculation.
- Support Internal and external audits, and prepare month-end P&L and Balance Sheet reports.
- Prepare monthly and yearly taxes, and apply company policies regarding sensitive information.
- A fluent level of Spanish and English.
- + 3 years of experience in a similar role within Spain.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team and build strong working relationships.
- Experience with Finance/Accounting systems.
- Highly detail-oriented, organized, and accurate.
- Ability to be consistent and reflective, ensuring high delivery of working standards.
- Demonstrate a complete vision and knowledge of operations within a finance department.
- Have a resolutive and proactive mindset to provide solutions within timeframes.
- Capacity to work under pressure and achieve deadlines.
- Degree in Business Administration and Management or Higher professional education on Administration/Accounting.
- Experience in the accounting, treasury, and collection departments.
- Permanent contract with a 1-month probation period.
- Full-time position (39 hours/week).
- Working days/Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm.
- Salary: 28K - 30K (depending on experience).
- Holidays: 24 per calendar month.
- Paid bank holidays + 1 extra day in lieu.
- Hybrid work arrangement: 3 days per month working from the office + training, the rest working from home.
