Job Description

Job Title: IT Specialist_International System Administrator Hotline

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Specialist to join our team in Madrid. As an IT Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our logistics systems and plants. Your primary focus will be on troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to software, hardware, and IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and maintenance for logistics systems and plants
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to software, hardware, and IT systems
  • Perform software inspections and create incident documentation
  • Collaborate with the development team to identify and resolve technical issues
  • Develop and maintain maintenance documentation for maintenance and inspection services
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the field

Requirements:

  • 3-year vocational technical education or degree in computer science or a related field
  • Professional experience in engineering, software development, or service
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Proficiency in Java, C++, databases (especially Oracle), and application servers (e.g. Websphere or BEA Weblogic)
  • Experience with scripting and patching of application software
  • Knowledge of common server systems and network technology
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with ServiceNow platform
  • Knowledge of logistics systems and plants
  • Fluency in English and German
