We are looking for a skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our team at Zurich Australian Insurance. As a Business Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting and consolidating user feedback and supporting Product Owners in managing holistic backlogs.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing business user support via the ServiceNow platform, triaging and responding to user requests, and assigning them to respective IT teams.
  • Analyzing business requirements and identifying dependencies, aligning the development of new features with other systems.
  • Engaging and managing a Subject Matter Expert (SME) network, hosting regular clinic sessions as needed, and maintaining collaboration channels.
  • Keeping training material and user guides up-to-date, upskilling the SME network, and delivering required trainings.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience with business requirements analysis (minimum 2-3 years).
  • Business process improvement and modeling tools, with a general knowledge of Agile methodology and experience preferred.
  • Experience in insurance, preferably in international program business, with experience in producing Underwriting/Underwriting Services roles an advantage.
  • Understanding of Policy Issuance processes and the life cycle of an International Program, which would be an advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving analytical skills, facilitation, and coordination skills.

You will also need to be able to:

  • Identify and consider business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment.
  • Communicate effectively in English, with other languages an advantage.
  • Hold a high education diploma in Business Administration, Computer Science, or Engineering.
