About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Presales Engineer to join our team at Arrow Electronics, Inc. As a Technical Presales Engineer, you will be working in the technical department in tandem with sales representatives, advising and counseling our partners about the best security solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with customers to understand their security needs and provide customized demos and presentations.
  • Conduct training and webinars to educate customers on our security solutions.
  • Provide technical advice and support for customers.
  • Meet with customers to showcase our security solutions and provide demonstrations.
  • Installation, configuration, and maintenance of security equipment.
  • Evaluation of security equipment and systems.
  • Installation or cooperation in the installation of security systems.
  • Analysis of the correct performance on assigned tasks.
  • Troubleshooting of security issues.
  • Creation of technical documents.
  • Attention to customer specifications and requirements.
  • Creation of guidance for the resolution of specific problems in configuration.
  • Conducting trainings and realizations of models to show solutions and demos to clients.
  • Making presentations of customized solutions to clients.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of Fortinet SD-WAN solution.
  • Experience with Fortinet products, especially FortiGate and hand-on exposure to network management and security operations in FortiManager.
  • Knowledge of switching & wireless communications, specifically FortiSwitch & FortiAP.
  • Certifications in NSE4 FortiOS, NSE 5 FortiManager, NSE 6 FortiSwitch, NSE 5 Secure Wireless LAN and NSE 7 SD-WAN.
