Clinical Contract Manager

As a Clinical Contract Manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will play a key role in managing the preparation, negotiation, and finalization of contract templates, process, and negotiation parameters. This includes contractual terms and conditions, and ancillary documents, as well as oversight of associated investigator grant budget(s).
Key Responsibilities:
• Influence the outcome of negotiations and ensure conformity to business needs, proper risk allocation, and compliance with the policies and procedures of the pharma services group.
• Negotiate contentious issues at multiple levels both internally and with the customer's negotiation team, keeping risk exposure in mind.
• Generate creative options to break through negotiation impasses that work for all parties.
• Continually strive to make the contracting process more efficient, effective, and customer-centric.
Requirements:
• Ability to work in a matrixed environment to get results from disparate stakeholders, including sales, finance, marketing, legal, quality, and site management/operations.
• Ability to sell the value of the contracting role to the broader business.
