About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Actuarial Risk Management Specialist to join our team at Nn Group. As a Reporting Actuary, you will play a key role in contributing to the comprehensive actuarial and risk reporting activities across various metrics, including Solvency II.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Solvency II Reporting: You will be responsible for Solvency II reporting, mainly related to the SII balance sheet, with a focus on technical provisions, own funds, and operating capital generation.
  2. Review of Profit Testing: You will review profit testing and reasonability of assumptions, methodologies, and models.
  3. Backtesting and Experience Assessments: You will perform backtesting and actual vs expected experience assessments.
  4. Project Support: You will participate in specific projects, business plans, and financial forecasts.
  5. IFRS 17 Reporting: You will develop synergies between SII and IFRS 17 reporting through automatization of the processes.
Candidate Profile
  1. Academic Qualifications: You must have a relevant academic bachelor's degree (or higher) in Actuarial sciences or similar.
  2. Experience: You must have experience in Solvency II valuation and reporting, with a focus on SII Technical provisions and Own Funds.
  3. Skills: You must be proficient in MS Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word) and have experience with AFM actuarial software.
  4. Language Skills: You must be fluent in English (writing and communication).
  5. Personal Qualities: You must have strong analytical and critical thinking abilities, a mentality to get things done, and be a driven, team player with a strong sense of ownership.
