Job Summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking an HR Business Partner to support the newly created Operational Center (OPC) Business in Madrid. As a key member of the global HR Business Partner team, you will be responsible for building up the OPC organization, overseeing staffing processes, and driving engagement actions to ensure full cohesion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build up the OPC organization
  • Oversee staffing processes and drive engagement actions
  • Drive implementation of all HR processes, including workforce planning, succession planning, performance management, and other applicable processes
  • Work with both operational and strategic tasks with a focus on culture, people, and organization
  • Ensure strong labor and key stakeholder relationships
  • Understand business needs and provide support and suggestions when applying HR policies and processes to achieve long-term objectives

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Master's degree is a plus
  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar role, preferably within the power and energy industry, or another international company with a complex matrix organization
  • Experience leading projects and implementing new procedures
  • In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, labor relations, and legal regulations in Spain
  • Strong understanding of talent acquisition, performance management, training and development, and employee relations
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide meaningful insights
