Job Description Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled HSE Safety Engineer to join our team in Barcelona Palafolls. As a key member of our industrial health and safety team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees and the environment.

Major Accountabilities:

  • Assessing HSE criteria for all new projects and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Working in a multifunctional team to manage projects and oversee the project management office for construction works.
  • Providing HSE guidance during the design of User Requirements Specifications and change management activities.
  • Informing, training, and sharing best practices with associates to promote a culture of safety and prevention.
  • Managing HSE risk assessments for all jobs and promoting the use of HSE net tools.
  • Participating in planning for preventive initiatives, work permissions, and self-protection plans.

What You'll Need to Bring to the Role:

  • Engineering degree and Master in Health & Safety.
  • 5-7 years of experience in industrial HSE roles with a strong focus on safety and consulting.
  • Sound knowledge of HAZOP, ATEX, Self-protection Plans, and What-if studies.
  • Fluent English and Spanish language skills.
  • Knowledge of the pharma industry and environmental management expertise.
