Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in Germany. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing growth strategies within our retail business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales and growth by engaging with existing customers and leads in both brick-and-mortar and e-commerce settings.
- Lead generation through attending trade shows, industry networking events, and collaborating with the marketing team to align digital campaigns with lead generation objectives.
- Expand relationships with current accounts and leads, and set and regularly evaluate KPIs and sales targets to measure growth and performance.
- Understand and analyze the competitive landscape of our product ranges, and provide monthly progress reports and self-evaluations to the team leader.
- Offer feedback to the marketing department on events and marketing expenditures to accurately assess ROI, and maintain consistency in all customer communications by staying well-versed in brand initiatives and the brand story.
- Develop annual budgets for all sales-related activities and manage the expense budget effectively.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in business development, ideally within the garden, landscape, or design industry.
- Extensive knowledge of the German market and a deep understanding of local business practices and culture.
- Excellent communication skills in both German and English.
- A proactive, self-driven approach with a strong focus on achieving results and customer satisfaction.
