Group Leader in Development and Validation of Electrolyzers and Flow Cells

Reporting to the Electrochemical Storage and Conversion Technology Coordinator:
Cic Energigune is seeking a Group Leader to oversee the development and validation of electrolyzers and flow cells. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting the strategic direction of the company's low temperature water electrolyzers, low temperature fuel cells, and flow cells business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define the strategy and roadmap for the group: Develop a comprehensive plan to drive the company's low temperature electrolysis, fuel cells, and flow cells technology forward.
- Lead technology development: Oversee the design, development, and manufacturing scale-up of electrolyzer and flow cell components to improve performance, lifetime, cost, sustainability, and scalability.
- Build a new generation of equipment: Develop and implement new technologies to enhance the company's electrolyzers and flow cells.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Build collaborative programs: Establish partnerships with local universities, industry, and technological centers to drive innovation and growth.
- Secure funding: Develop and submit proposals to secure government and industrial funding for research and development projects.
- Industry alignment: Maintain close relationships with the Basque industry to ensure the company's scientific strategy aligns with industry needs and maximizes impact.
