Job Title: Process Engineering Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineering Lead to join our team at ArcelorMittal. As a key member of our Integrated Program Team, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and engineering developments of our future Plants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage specialty disciplines to support engineering development for designing, implementing, and optimizing steel making processes.
  • Own the Process Engineering in the Technical design & standardization authority within the program and manage technical internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide technical input for Engineering and Design deliverables, including coordination and production of discipline-specific deliverables.
  • Identify opportunities to improve engineering designs and troubleshoot manufacturing process issues to maintain operational effectiveness.
  • Represent ArcelorMittal from the process perspective during design and implementation phases with external stakeholders.
  • Ensure all changes to processes are controlled through Management of Change and Safety Review procedures.
  • Evaluate processes and equipment to ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
  • Lead and/or coordinate internal alignments among clusters for Process Engineering activities during design phases.
  • Lead the EPCM contractor to comply with quality, schedule, and budget requirements for the process discipline.
Requirements:
  • University degree in any engineering discipline.
  • Deep technical knowledge of steel making processes.
  • Ability to work in an international team and flexibility to travel.
  • Desire to make a positive impact on people, communities, and the planet.

  • Enthusiasm and energy as a collaborative team player.
  • Practical judgement in the here and now.
