Senior Process Engineer – Iron Ore Beneficiation

Vèringer Ingeniería Avanzada is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to lead a specialized initiative focused on Iron Ore beneficiation techniques, both dry and wet. This project is centered around the development of advanced methodologies for processing iron ore.

The primary objective of this initiative is to generate High Grade Direct Reduction Pellets (HGDRP) from iron-rich magnetite ore. The mining operation will utilize conventional open-pit methods, aiming for a significant annual production capacity.

Project Duration: 1 year

Work Arrangement: This position offers the flexibility of remote work from a European location, with potential travel for collaboration as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the Metallurgy and Process design efforts, including the selection of critical equipment and the formulation of operational and maintenance strategies.
  • Overseeing the development of FEED process designs while ensuring adherence to process safety standards.
  • Encouraging interdisciplinary collaboration to integrate the Process team effectively within the overall design framework.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 15 years of combined experience in operations, commissioning, and engineering design.
  • At least 10 years of focused engineering design experience.
  • A proven history in process engineering for design and study projects.
  • Strong proficiency in both written and spoken English.
  • Willingness to travel for short-term assignments or extended placements as required.
