About the Role

Hubell is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineering Lead to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, testing, maintenance, and enhancement of applications written in high-level languages such as C#, AngularJS, and T-SQL.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the scrum team in the development of full-stack applications with limited guidance from a manager or software architect.
  • Mentor developers and provide technical oversight to ensure high-quality code.
  • Work closely with the Product Owner to ensure the product backlog is groomed for successful implementation.
  • Collaborate with peer technical leaders to ensure the product architecture is cohesive and meets functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Research and analyze new technologies and frameworks to adopt and integrate into the solution.
  • Author and review artifacts from all phases to ensure they meet requirements.
  • Perform gap analysis on current solutions to identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead by example and ensure development standards and processes are followed across the team.
  • Communicate with stakeholders to ensure architectural vision for the product is aligned.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience developing with an object-oriented language.
  • 5+ years of experience developing with C#.
  • 5+ years of experience in full-stack development.
  • 3+ years of experience as an architect or team lead.
  • Knowledge of Web APIs based Web Service development.
  • Experience developing responsive and accessible web applications with associated technologies.
  • Experience with unit testing and related frameworks.
  • Experience with dependency injection and related frameworks.
  • Experience with ORM frameworks.
  • Thoroughly knowledgeable with all aspects of software development lifecycles.
  • Demonstrated supervisory/leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Intermediate or advanced English.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering General.
