About the Role

Hubell is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineering Team Lead to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, testing, maintenance, and enhancement of our applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical oversight and guidance to the development team, ensuring that our applications are developed using best practices and industry standards.
  • Full Stack Development: Develop and maintain our applications using high-level languages such as C#, AngularJS, and T-SQL.
  • Mentorship: Mentor junior developers and provide them with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Product Backlog Management: Work closely with the Product Owner to ensure that the product backlog is groomed and prioritized to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Architecture and Design: Collaborate with peer technical leaders to ensure that our product architecture is cohesive and meets the required functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Research and Development: Research and analyze new technologies and frameworks to adopt and integrate into our solutions.
  • Quality Assurance: Author and review artifacts from all phases of the software development lifecycle to ensure that they meet the required standards.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to ensure that our development processes are efficient and effective.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including Project Managers, engineers, Product Owners, and Product Managers, to ensure that our architectural vision is aligned with the needs of the business.
Requirements
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience developing with an object-oriented language, with at least 5 years of experience developing with C# and 5 years of experience in full stack development.
  • Leadership Experience: 3+ years of experience as an architect or team lead.
  • Skills: Knowledge of Web APIs based Web Service development, experience developing responsive and accessible web applications, and experience with unit testing and related frameworks.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering General.
