About the Role

Hitachi Energy is seeking a seasoned HR Business Partner to support the newly created Operational Center (OPC) Business in Madrid. As a key member of the global HR Business Partner team, you will be responsible for driving strategic HR initiatives and providing expert guidance to the OPC organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and Develop the OPC Organization
    • Establish a strong HR foundation, including staffing processes and engagement initiatives
    • Drive the implementation of HR processes, including workforce planning, succession planning, performance management, and other applicable processes
  • Drive Operational Excellence
    • Collaborate with operational teams to identify and implement process improvements
    • Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and retention
  • Provide Strategic HR Guidance
    • Support management in HR-related matters, including performance management, employee relations, talent management, learning and development, hiring, and recruitment
    • Provide coaching and guidance to management on key people management activities
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
    • Master's degree is a plus
  • Experience
    • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar role
    • Preferably within the power and energy industry or another international company with a complex matrix organization
  • Skills
    • Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, labor relations, and legal regulations in Spain
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization
