Job Title: Global Site Assessment Specialist - Natural Hazards & Climate Change Resilience

Zurich Resilience Solutions (ZRS) is a pioneering initiative that supports commercial customers in enhancing resilience in a rapidly changing world. Our team of experts offers risk prevention and mitigation services to proactively manage complex risks. One of our key services is Zurich's Climate and Sustainability Solutions (C&SS), provided by site assessment specialists who help customers and business partners analyze and understand natural hazards- and climate change-related physical and operational risks. Our goal is to develop risk management response measures that ensure business continuity and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support customers in managing physical and operational risks
  • Develop business strategies to extend our range of services in response to changing market needs and regulatory demands
  • Work closely with the Global Head of the C&SS Team to develop new services and assessment guidelines
  • Scope the market to identify potential customers and support local sales teams
  • Train Risk Engineers and develop a community of natural hazards and climate change specialists
Requirements:
  • Strong engineering background with a Master's degree and 5+ years of practical experience
  • Understanding of climate change science and its practical application
  • Extensive knowledge of practical engineering and organizational protection measures for natural hazards
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to various stakeholders
  • Fluent in written and spoken English at a technical level
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in consulting services or a commercial mindset with a strong customer service orientation
  • Knowledge of catastrophe modeling tools and critical assessment of output
