Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations and Services Coordinator to join our team at Belmonte Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Operations & Services Management Team with the security, cleaning, and maintenance of the Venue.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support to the Operations Director in their areas of responsibility for the security, cleaning, and maintenance of the venue.
- Maintain the standards and priorities set by the Operations Management Team and take responsibility for the day-to-day management in the absence of the Operations Managers.
- Assist the Operations Department in setting up, tracking, and achieving budgets for the common costs of the venue.
- Carry out preventative measures regarding Health and Safety issues to evaluate performance and conduct and to ensure that all Venue standards are continually monitored.
- Complete timely legal compliance checks to include risk assessments and Health and Safety strategies.
- Assist the Operations Director in developing and maintaining partnerships with 3rd party contractors.
- Supervise daily corrective and preventive maintenance of all the property, including minor carpentry, brickwork, plumbing, electrical, painting, and other projects carried out in the Venue.
- Support FM program corrective and preventive maintenance.
- Supervise the Security Team and ensure appropriate cover is maintained at all times, as well as ensure proactive behavior from security guards with guests.
- Supervise soft Operational areas such as gardening and cleaning, with a guest-centric mindset.
- Supervise and control other contracted services needed for the smooth running of the business.
- Train and supervise the Security Team and ensure appropriate cover is always maintained.
- Maintain strong relationships with local police, fire brigade, and ambulance services.
- Oversee communications with contracted cleaning companies and management teams.
- Supervise the landscaping contract of the Venue.
- Supervise and control other contracted services such as pest control, air fresheners, diaper, and sanitary napkin dispensers, public telephones, etc.
- Ensure that Brands comply with the venue's rules and regulations concerning material supply, waste disposal, use of common installations, operating hours, car parking, etc.
- Process purchase orders to contractors, suppliers, consumable control, and day-to-day support with the Cleaning, Security, and Car Parking Teams.
- Implement H&S standards and carry out the weekly recorded inspection regarding every standard.
Requirements
- Industrial Engineer or similar with one year of comparable experience in a commercial or leisure center, hospitality business, or tourism environment.
- Ability to prioritize and manage several tasks simultaneously.
- Exemplary operational skills & ability to work on own initiative.
- Previous experience of working in a fast-paced high-volume environment.
- Excellent organization and communication skills.
- Customer service oriented.
- Physically fit and self-motivated.
- Able to work individually or as part of a team.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
