About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our EDIB and Sustainability initiatives. As the Head of EDIB and Sustainability, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance sustainable English learning activities and exam delivery, while upholding our principles of representation, equity, and fairness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute change management activities to boost organisational capability and promote widespread adoption of EDIB and Sustainability initiatives
  • Conduct stakeholder analysis, drive change metrics, capture change impacts, manage communications, and perform learning needs analysis and readiness assessments
  • Encourage creative problem-solving among colleagues, foster key stakeholder relationships to secure effective organisational buy-in and leadership, support teams in adopting strategic changes, and translate our vision for EDIB and Sustainability into actionable plans
  • Work closely with the Operations function to develop targets and frameworks to reduce carbon emissions across the English product group, collaborate with HR to create data-driven improvement plans for addressing pay gaps, and enable the exchange of ideas and data for evidence-based decision-making
  • Manage organisational ambiguity, inspire others to embrace change initiatives, advocate EDIB and Sustainability issues through coaching and facilitating senior leaders, managers, and global colleagues, and drive ownership and empowerment for independent management and reporting on EDIB and Sustainability initiatives
About You

We are looking for a candidate who combines their knowledge and passion for EDIB and Sustainability with their experience of influencing and embedding change in an organisation. You will be able to successfully lead the implementation and measurement of our EDIB and Sustainability initiatives, monitor success, and help leaders embed the principles in their teams. You will have high levels of change agility and adapt well when faced with complexity and ambiguity, responding well to setbacks and bouncing back from failure, learning from the experience and adjusting, where needed.
