Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team at Futron. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate construction projects from start to finish, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Oversee and supervise construction teams, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
  • Monitor and control project costs, identifying areas for cost savings and implementing measures to reduce expenses.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, suppliers, and other partners to ensure smooth project execution.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in construction project management, with a strong background in civil, mechanical, electrical, and/or environmental projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex construction projects, with a focus on safety, quality, and timeliness.
  • Strong knowledge of construction practices, methods, and management skills, with experience in Primavera scheduling software and/or other construction scheduling software packages.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to work outdoors in extreme heat or cold, with the ability to climb, use fall protection equipment, and perform strenuous activities.
  • Medical certificate of physical qualification and successful completion of the full 40-hour EM Construction Safety Course (NAVFACSYSCOM or USACE).

Benefits:

  • No benefits are paid through Futron.

This position is located in Rota, Spain, and we are looking for Spanish nationals who can commute daily to and from the job site.
