About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to join our team at Amazon Data Services Spain, S.L. - C94. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction of our data centers in the EMEA region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage construction projects from start to finish, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and operations, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Conduct site visits, monitor progress, and identify potential issues to ensure projects stay on track.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Develop and implement construction management strategies to improve efficiency, quality, and safety.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in construction management, with a focus on data center construction.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects, with a focus on budget, schedule, and quality.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards, including Life Safety, BOCA, NFPA, NEC, and OSHA.
