Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Payroll Expert to join our team at LanguageWire. As a key member of our accounting department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of payroll across all our entities.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills in English and a strong understanding of international payroll regulations. You will be responsible for collaborating with external payroll providers in various European countries, including Germany, Sweden, Denmark, and Spain, to ensure compliance with local legislation and group policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing and maintaining payroll computations to ensure high standards of compliance and accuracy
  • Ensuring the collection of payroll processing documents and other accounting inputs and tax information in a timely manner
  • Checking input payroll data and documents for compliance with local regulations and contracts
  • Filing documents in accordance with established systems and maintaining complete and well-organized files
  • Meeting deadlines for payroll processing in countries where we operate
  • Staying up-to-date with changes in legislation and informing superiors of any relevant updates
  • Reviewing and verifying the accuracy of entered input data and output results
  • Liaising with external parties such as auditors, bankers, and relevant authorities
  • Ensuring reimbursement in case of sickness and maternity according to country regulations
  • Delivering reports and analysis to the organization

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A strong sense of detail and accuracy
  • Curiousness about expanding your knowledge of payroll in multiple jurisdictions
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize important projects and meet deadlines
  • Flair for numbers, Excel, and at least two years of experience in payroll processing

Salary Information

We offer a competitive salary package, estimated to be around €45,000 - €60,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. This includes private health insurance, flexible work options, and access to a range of benefits and perks.
