About the Role

Santen Inc is seeking a highly skilled Surgical Partner to join our team in Spain. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful adoption of our PRESERFLO MicroShunt among glaucoma surgeons.

Key Responsibilities
  • Account Development: Identify and build relationships with key opinion leaders and surgeons in the glaucoma field, with a focus on establishing PRESERFLO MicroShunt as the surgical treatment of reference.
  • Training and Education: Provide state-of-the-art surgical training and support to ensure the successful use of our product among surgeons.
  • Business Development: Collaborate with our Pricing & Market-Access Team to maximize the MicroShunt potential in Spain and across the EMEA region.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including surgeons, hospitals, and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in hospital sales, key account management, or a related field, with a strong understanding of the ophthalmology industry.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Education: Degree in a health-related field or equivalent qualification.
  • Travel: Ability to travel approximately 60% of the working time, with international travel required.
