As a Robotics & Control Engineer, you'll be part of a cross-functional team that's working together to design and develop cutting-edge guidance and navigation control systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of passionate GNC engineers and contribute to GNC design and development activities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, design, develop, and integrate GNC solutions into UAVs
  • Define the Control Laws and Algorithm Architecture for onboard automation systems, including Flight Controls and Navigation Systems
  • Identify possible failure modes and define robust contingency Control Laws to maintain safe flight
  • Work Package Management of a defined scope: actively driving the project work forward to achieve the agreed deliverables on time and within budget

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Postgraduate degree in GNC Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Software Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering
  • 3+ years of industry or postgraduate experience in GNC Engineering
  • Strong applied math foundations; ability to derive algorithms related to guidance, navigation, and control (GNC)
  • Experience in linear and non-linear feedback control system design
  • Experience with Kalman filtering
  • Experience with sensor fusion algorithms
  • Experience with simulation development
  • Experience in C development for embedded systems
  • Experience with version control systems like Git, enabling effective collaboration and code management
