Senior Engineer for Air Vehicle Systems

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to join our team in the Systems and GNC Area at SENER Aerospace and Defense. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the system engineering definition of air vehicles and systems in the frame of national and international Defence European projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead SENER Systems Engineering activities associated to the design of air vehicles and systems (manned and unmanned aircraft)
  • Operational Analysis: Definition of CONOPS, Definition of Operational Architectures
  • Top Level Systems Engineering: Functional definition, Systems Breakdown Structure and Functional Breakdown Structure definition, Functional Architecture and Interfaces, Requirements definition and management, Concurrent Engineering with technical specialists
  • Provide support to SENER design team for: Certification activities, Safety Analyses (FHA, FTA, ZSA/PRA, etc.), Air Vehicle systems integration
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience performing the tasks described above
  • Capacity to understand new concepts and apply them to engineering problems
  • Aeronautical Knowledge on Aircraft systems
