We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at MAHLE Electronics. As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing material costs and vendor tooling for acquisition, tracking performance to these material costs and project timelines, and negotiating supply agreements with selected suppliers.
Key Responsibilities- Provide accurate and timely material costs using project buying tools or FACTON in support of acquisitions.
- Interface with product engineering to understand electronics bill of materials and requirements.
- Send RFQs to suppliers on the bid list, analyze results, and complete the sourcing process for each new part.
- Negotiate and execute supply agreements for each newly sourced part.
- Track performance to business case numbers and sourcing timing once the business is awarded.
- Ensure RFQ dashboards are kept up to date.
- Process prototype orders.
- BS degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain.
- 3 years of experience in purchasing/supply chain, with automotive experience preferred.
- Advanced Excel, negotiation, and project management skills.
- Knowledge of mechatronic/electronics markets is advantageous.
- Understanding and use of cost drivers and market dynamics in assigned commodities.
- Good results orientation and strong work ethic.
