About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Security Specialist to join our Application Security team at Amazon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our cloud-based applications and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough security reviews of cloud-based applications and services
  • Design and implement secure architecture for cloud-based applications and services
  • Develop and maintain threat models for cloud-based applications and services
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks
  • Develop and deliver security training and guidance to internal development teams
  • Develop and maintain security metrics and deliverables
  • Assist with recruiting activities and talent acquisition

Our Application Security team is responsible for creating and maintaining a high bar for security across all of Amazon's products and services. Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
  • Knowledge of networking protocols such as HTTP, DNS, and TCP/IP
  • Experience programming in Python, Ruby, Go, Swift, Java,.Net, C++, or similar object-oriented language
  • Experience with threat modeling, secure coding, identity management and authentication, software development, cryptography, system administration, and network security
  • Experience with AWS products and services
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, C++
