About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Security Specialist to join our Application Security team at Amazon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our cloud-based applications and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting application security reviews to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses
  • Designing secure architecture and implementing threat modeling to protect against potential threats
  • Developing and maintaining security guidance documentation to support internal development teams
  • Delivering security metrics and improvements to ensure the highest level of security
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and address security risks
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS
  • Knowledge of networking protocols, including HTTP, DNS, and TCP/IP
  • Programming experience in languages such as Python, Java, C++, or similar object-oriented languages
  • Experience with threat modeling, secure coding, identity management, and authentication
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with AWS products and services
  • Programming experience in languages such as Python, Java, C++
