We are representing a global leader in the industrial sector that is currently undergoing a significant digital transformation. They are integrating cutting-edge technologies to streamline operations and enhance their global footprint. As part of this transformation, they are building a robust cloud-native computing product family and are looking for a skilled Cloud Security Specialist to join their team.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and confident Cloud Security Specialist to oversee and secure Kubernetes clusters deployed worldwide. This role is critical in ensuring the security and integrity of containerized applications and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Kubernetes and container security, with a proven track record in enhancing cybersecurity within complex environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Security Management: Develop, implement, and manage security policies and procedures for Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications.
  • Threat Detection and Response: Monitor, detect, and respond to security threats and vulnerabilities within container environments.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with dedicated security teams and other IT departments to coordinate and implement security initiatives.
  • Global Initiatives: Lead and participate in global cybersecurity initiatives to enhance overall security posture.
  • Best Practices: Advocate for and implement best practices for container security across the organization.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to development and operations teams on container security practices and tools.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of security policies, procedures, and incident response activities.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  • Experience: Experience in container security and Kubernetes.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient with Kubernetes and container orchestration platforms. In-depth understanding of container security tools and practices (e.g., Docker, Pod Security Policies, Network Policies). Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
