Head of Procurement, EU Central Services, GPO

As a key member of Amazon's Global Procurement Organization, the Head of Procurement, EU Central Services, GPO will be responsible for leading the procurement function in the EMEA region. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills, who can drive process improvements and optimize procurement operations to deliver business value.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Strategic Initiatives: Design and execute end-to-end Source-to-Pay processes to reduce costs and enhance efficiency.
- Lead a Global Team: Foster a high-performance culture and drive process design and execution initiatives to future-proof the procurement function.
- Oversee Procurement Operations: Ensure efficient execution and continuous improvement of procurement shared services.
- Engage with Stakeholders: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure procurement strategies support overall business objectives.
- Define and Measure KPIs: Develop and track key performance indicators for procurement processes and shared services.
- Manage the Procurement Budget: Ensure financial targets are met and stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
- Experience in Team Management: Proven track record of leading teams and driving process improvements.
- Supply Chain Experience: Strong understanding of supply chain principles and practices.
- Senior Executive Experience: Ability to work with and influence senior executives up to VP level.
- Process Implementation Experience: Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization.
- MBA: Advanced degree in business administration or related field.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Ability to use data and metrics to drive improvements.
