Role Summary:

The Lead Enterprise Solutions Architect is pivotal in crafting a cohesive architectural framework that aligns with the strategic objectives of the organization. This role encompasses the development of a comprehensive architectural strategy and the assessment of proposed architectural frameworks and diagrams from various stakeholders, system integrators, and IT service providers. Successful collaboration with other IT divisions and effective communication with program stakeholders are critical components of this role.

The ideal candidate will possess a proven history in SAP 4/HANA ecosystems deployed in cloud environments and integrated with on-premise applications, as our cloud transformation will occur in phases, migrating various systems from on-premise to Azure cloud at different intervals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Comprehend the overarching architectural strategy for the entire cloud transformation initiative.
    • Guide a team of internal IT specialists to delineate technical workstreams.
    • Provide strategic insights across IT domains and business stakeholders.
    • Align technical vision with industry standards and best practices.
    • Identify technical risks and challenges, proposing mitigation strategies as necessary.
  • Architectural Implementation:
    • Coordinate and oversee technical workstreams to ensure timely delivery.
    • Engage in technical dialogues with partners to critically assess proposals.
    • Propose solutions that address specific business requirements and facilitate data exchange and migration.
    • Design and evaluate architecture performance, availability, and scalability.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Oversee third-party development teams and validate their proposals.
    • Ensure adherence to established standards and practices.
    • Provide expert guidance to delivery teams for complex challenges.
  • Cloud Architecture Excellence:
    • Collaborate with other teams to develop artifacts and guidelines for cloud platforms.

Qualifications:

  • University degree in Higher Engineering (Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field).
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in Solution or Enterprise Architecture.
  • At least 2 years' experience in SAP ecosystems, with SAP 4/HANA being highly desirable.
  • Cloud Certification in Azure is preferred, particularly Azure Solutions Architect Certification.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering cloud transformation initiatives.
  • Experience in integrating applications in hybrid and cloud-based environments with SAP.
  • Experience in migrating databases and historical data to cloud services.
  • Experience in designing analytics architectures utilizing SAP as a data source.
  • Ability to assess scalable and cost-effective solutions.
  • Strong project and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Proficiency in English.
