About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transportation Executive to join our team at Club Med. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for supporting our Call Centre by completing transportation requests, administering both Amadeus and our in-house reservations system, and handling group requests efficiently for our Meetings and Events department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transportation Request Management: Effectively complete all transportation requests within 4 hours, wherever possible, and find the best flights and pricing for our clients in line with their needs.
  • Amadeus Administration: Issue and reissue tickets, check Amadeus queues on a regular basis to keep on top of any ticketing issues, and complete scheduled changes within Amadeus and inform the customer.
  • Group Request Handling: Find effective and cost-efficient group flights for our Meetings and Events department, complete passenger lists and seating requests as per the group's needs, and support the groups department in case of any flight issues.
  • Travel Information Communication: Proactively look out for notices of airline strikes, proactively look out for any potential issues that would affect flights (weather, political situations), and communicate any potential transport issues to both the Call Centre and clients in a polite and helpful manner.
  • Financial Reconciliation: Support the Finance department in the reconciliation of Transport billings, and assist the Transport Manager with ADM's, ACM's, and other BSP requirements.
  • Airline Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with airline representatives, including scheduling regular meetings and updates to stay informed about their operations and needs, negotiate contracts and agreements with airlines to ensure favorable terms and conditions for transportation services, and collaborate with airlines to develop joint marketing initiatives, promotions, and special offers to attract new customers and increase revenue.

Requirements:

  • Education: University graduate or at least 3 years working in ticketing/travel agency.
  • Experience: At least 3 years working in ticketing/travel agency.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of the airline industry, airline rules and regulations, airline partners.
  • Technical Skills: Amadeus selling Platform utilisation – ticketing, reissuing tickets, IT fares, Queues administration, BSP knowledge.
  • Skills: Sales oriented, languages – Spanish fluently and good level in English (French is a plus).
